Controversial plans to give China the biggest embassy in Europe have been approved.

It’ll be in London at the former headquarters of the Royal Mint.

Campaigners worried about blanked out rooms in the planning application, and fears cables underneath the site could be used to spy on the city’s financial institutions.

But we’re told security fears have been ‘addressed’.
