The development at Clifton Gardens will offer 46 homes for rent, 28 for shared ownership, and four fully wheelchair-accessible properties.
The site will include landscaped open spaces, tree planting, a new bus stop, and traffic calming on Woburn Hill.
The scheme aims to help families and first-time buyers stay in the area, with completion expected in 2028.
