Comedian Rosie Jones claims she and a friend were subjected to an ableist and homophobic attack on a train at the weekend.

The 35-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, says a plastic wine bottle was thrown at her and fellow comedian Lee Peart.

Officers from British Transport Police spoke to the pair at East Croydon station after the incident.

British Transport Police say they’re investigating an incident reported on Sunday night on the Brighton to Victoria service.
