Cleaners, porters and catering staff at St George’s Hospital in Tooting have secured a bonus for their work during the Pandemic.

GMB Union today announced that NHS workers at the hospital were being rewarded up to £1,600.

The bonus comes as 97% of the Union voted to back the action, that was initially only afforded to permanent NHS staff.

The workers will receive the payment by the 11^th of June.
