A drug dealer from Brixton, who hid guns and ammunition in a children’s bedroom has been jailed for 18 years.

The sentence was imposed after a trial at Croydon Crown Court.

45 year-old Danny Butler, of New Park Road, was convicted of possession of six firearms with intent to endanger life, along with possessing drugs with intent to supply.

Three handguns, one of them loaded, were discovered in a child’s drawer at an address in Brixton to which Butler had access.

Drugs were also found at the house during the operation targeted against gang violence.
