She received what’s described as “unacceptable and hateful” remarks after revealing she’s expecting a baby with West Ham midfielder Kristie Mewis.
The announcement came with a photo of the couple kissing and showing off their baby bump.
The football club says there is “no place in society for any form of discrimination”.
