Carlos Alcaraz says he had more than just tennis on his mind towards the end of his quarter-final victory over Tommy Paul at Wimbledon.

The defending champion admits he was in a rush to finish in time to watch Spain at Euro 2024.

Alcaraz will have been pleased as his country beat France 2-1 to reach Sunday’s final.

He’ll play Daniil Medvedev in the last-four at the All England Club tomorrow.
