Care4Calais Heathrow has joined more than 250 UK community groups in rejecting the government’s proposed asylum reforms.

The group signed an open letter to the Home Secretary and will take part in a protest outside the Home Office today.

The nationwide ‘Communities Together for Refugees’ week features local events supporting refugees.

Organisers say the events celebrate community solidarity and counter far-right rhetoric.
