Carbon emissions have fallen by 19% across Epsom and Ewell since 2020.

The council says upgrades like the installation of LED lights at its buildings including Epsom Playhouse are to thank.

Bourne Hall’s windows have also replaced with double glazing which will see expected annual savings of 20 tonnes of carbon emissions.

A designated zone in Ewell High Street where pollution levels previously exceeded national air quality limits has already been revoked.
