A new camera-enforced filter on Palace Road and Leigham Vale will cut traffic and make the roads safer.
The scheme allows only cyclists, walkers, and essential vehicles through.
Over 3,700 vehicles a day use Palace Road, with many breaking the speed limit.
Since the Streatham Hill Low Traffic Neighbourhood started, traffic on side streets has fallen 54% and more people are cycling.
