Business owners in and around Hersham are being urged to check any banknotes they’ve recently received.

It’s after a man from Hersham has been charged with four counts of using counterfeit money.

Police arrested 37 year old Adam Raine after finding over £10,000 in fake notes at his home.

He is due to appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court on the 27th of March.
