Buses in Croydon that carry children with special educational needs and disabilities have been fitted with tablets to improve their journey.

Croydon Council operates 39 SEND buses to five schools with some bus journeys lasting up to two hours.

The roll out came after a pilot last term which found them to be beneficial, along with positive feedback from parents.

The screens have now been fitted in 20 buses and will play educational videos as well as Makaton to help with communication.
