Brentford Boat Club’s under-14 coxed quad has won gold at a national rowing competition.

That’s despite having no facilities only 6 weeks ago.

Nearly 600 crews took to the water at the WinTech Junior Sculling Head at Dorney Lake.

The Brentford team is made up of 13 and 14-year-olds from state schools across Hounslow.

It moved into a new base at Duke’s Meadows in Chiswick following a campaign to find a new premises.
