Fordbridge Park in Ashford has become the new home for a ‘talking bench.’

It’s been donated by charity, Samaritans for the people of Spelthorne.

Inscribed on the bench are the words ‘it’s good to talk, better to listen’.

The aim of talking benches are to encourage people to sit and discuss their worries and concerns with each other.
