Around 83.9 million passengers travelled through Heathrow’s terminals last year.

Airport bosses say the record-breaking number is 4.7 million more than in 2023.

Heathrow is forecasting it will serve 84.2 million passengers this year.

It says it will be investing over £1billion over the 12 months to make the airport fit for the future.
