Around 24,000 jobs will be created when McDonald’s UK and Ireland opens more than 200 new restaurants over the next four years.

It’s the biggest expansion programme for the fast-food chain in more than two decades.

The plan’s been driven by a £1 billion investment by the business and its franchisees.
