An inquest into the death of 10-year-old Sara Sharif will not take place until next year, a coroner has said.

Her body was discovered at the family home in Woking in August 2023.

Her father, Urfan Sharif, and stepmother, Beinash Batool, were jailed for life in December 2024 for murder.

Senior coroner for Surrey, Richard Travers, set a date of the 5th of April 2027, at a pre-inquest review.
