The building on the Kingston House Estate at the back of Crowne Plaza hotel in Portsmouth Road has been vacant for over 2 years.
It’s understood there will also be a chapel on site as part of the plans by Dignity.
The industrial unit was built as factory in the 1940s and used by Land Rover.
