It’s after the Home Office said it planned to house male asylum seekers at The Stanwell Hotel.
The plans are currently on hold following a backlash and council leader, Joanne Sexton says they should be abandoned altogether.
The Stanwell Hotel, which is currently housing women and children, has recently been at the centre of peaceful protests.
