An artist from Wimbledon is one of eight who have been chosen to appear on the new series of Landscape Artist of the Year.

Alison Clarke’s most recent painting, Ever Mine, inspired by Wimbledon Common, was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

The TV competition challenges artists to create work under intense time pressure while being assessed by judges.

They’re competing for a £10,000 commission prize.

Alison’s episode will broadcast on Sky on the 28th of January.
