Police were called to The Wheatsheaf pub on Kingston Road around 3.30pm on Tuesday after a stabbing in an alleyway next to the pub.
A man in his 20s was treated by police, paramedics, and members of the public but was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported
