It’s after Wildlife Aid Foundation had to take in two days’ old mice that had been fed a mix including mayonnaise and corn syrup.
Vets say they were “in poor condition, underweight and very dehydrated”, and a third sibling had already died.
The charity is advising people to contact them for advice if they think they have found a young, orphaned wild animal before moving them.
