The new machine provides more accelerated, minimally invasive treatment for patients and will enable more precise targeting of tumours in some procedures.
Dame Deborah – who was known as ‘Bowelbabe’- was treated at The Royal Marsden for bowel cancer and donated £1 million to the world-leading treatment centre.
Following her incurable diagnosis, she used her experience and platform to break down barriers, fundraise and campaign for the disease.
