AFC Wimbledon midfielder Sam Hutchinson says his heart attack is “another injury” he has to overcome.
The 35-year-old has undergone surgery to place a stent in a blocked artery after he fell ill following his side’s 1-0 win at Grimsby Town.
He’s told the club’s website the response he’s had from everyone at AFC Wimbledon has been “simply unbelievable.”
His heart attack took place in the sixth minute of the game, with his winning goal in the 52nd minute.
