A woman who spent several weeks in hospital in Tooting has praised the NHS staff who cared for her.

62 year old Sue Whitham was placed in a medically-induced coma after being rushed to St George’s via ambulance.

She has now recovered and has thanked the team as well as paramedics at London Ambulance Service.

Over 75% of cardiac arrests, which occur when the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops pumping, happen at home.

Sue says: “The hospital medics at St George’s were incredible. I’ve been gifted another life.”
