41-year-old Karmelese Hussain has been sentenced to 8 months in jail, suspended for 18 months, after pleading guilty.
She’s also been ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 25 days of rehabilitation activity.
An investigation revealed a two-year long deception with forged documents and fake care arrangements costing the council £38,000.
