Janice Nuttall phoned 111 for advice in December after feeling short of breath.

Cardiac conditions can present differently according to gender.

Women are more likely to feel heart attack pain in their jaw, back and neck.

The operator sent an emergency SECAmb crew who observed Janice before rushing her to Epsom Hospital.

Her blood troponin levels, a critical marker for detecting heart muscle damage, were recorded as being very high.

Janice had a balloon stent fitted but had only incurred 3% damage to the heart muscle during her heart attack.

Medics say this is thanks to the early intervention of the ambulance crew.
