A temporary pilot scheme aimed at improving driver behaviour is to be introduced in a part of Tooting.

The month-long trial will begin in Elmbourne Road later this month in response to requests from residents concerned about road safety.

Elmbourne Road is a busy route that runs alongside Tooting Bec Common.

The pilot scheme will involve some temporary parking suspensions and the potential introduction of a zebra crossing.
