Zoe Magness has taken on a nursing course at Winchester University and is due to go on placement at Southampton Children’s Hospital.
She was diagnosed with Type 1 Pleuropulmonary Blastoma, a rare type of childhood lung cancer, in 2009 when she was just 4.
Zoe decided to embark on a career in nursing having spent 7 weeks in ICU and seeing first-hand the work done by St George’s staff.
