Bridge works are being carried out between junction 9 at Leatherhead and 10 at Wisley from 9 tonight until 6am on Monday.
Drivers are asked to only travel if necessary, on a weekend forecast to have the warmest weather of the year so far.
They are also being warned that they could incur ULEZ fines if they don’t stick to the official diversion routes.
