A special event is taking place in Long Ditton to mark 300 years since the passing of Sir Christopher Wren.

The architect is responsible for some of our most famous buildings including Royal Hospital Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace.

Yvonne Jackman, a City of London guide, will be talking about Wren’s major accomplishments and his connections to Long Ditton.

The talk is taking place at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday, the 13th of September at 8pm, and booking is required.
