PC Gary Chant is attached to the Central West Command Unit, which covers Hammersmith, Fulham and Kensington.
He will next appear in court in October for sentencing.
PC Chant was arrested in November on suspicion of harassment and was subsequently suspended from duty.
The incident relates to a woman he knows whom he sent a significant number of unwanted messages while he was on duty.
