A school holiday programme in Wandsworth is being praised by the government for tackling ‘holiday hunger’.

MP, Stephen Morgan has visited Ernest Bevin Academy to see Wandsworth Connected Holiday Activities and Food programme.

The scheme supports families with fun, inclusive activities and nutritional meals during school holidays.

The scheme reached over 4,800 children last year and could help shape national plans to expand support across the UK.
