A recording of an interview with rock star Jimi Hendrix has sold for over £3,500 at auction.
It was created by former EastEnders star and Kingston resident, John Altman, otherwise known as Nasty Nick.
He made the recording backstage at a concert in Kent in December 1967.
The tape was expected to fetch between £1,000 and £2,000 when it went under the hammer at Ewbank’s in Send.
