The space will be the eighth of its kind in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
The authority says it’s working closely with the Friends of Hammersmith Park to design the gym.
Residents are being asked what equipment they’d like to see installed from hand bikes and cross trainers to stationary bikes.
