A pedestrian in his 80s has died after a collision involving a marked police vehicle on an emergency call in Lambeth.

It happened on Lambeth Palace Road on Thursday evening.

Officers and medical staff treated the man at the scene, but he died in hospital.

The Metropolitan Police says it’s trying to contact his next of kin – and the watchdog’s launched an investigation.
