A paramedic from Croydon is featuring in a new Netflix show Critical: Between Life and Death.

Lara Hammon is joined by London Ambulance Service critical care teams on the programme that follows emergency responses.

The series features the fairground ride crash in Brockwell Park and a motorbike accident treated at King’s College Hospital.

Since 2010, the London Major Trauma System has treated over 12,000 patients annually, improving survival rates by 50%.
