A new six-year contract to manage Wandsworth’s parks and open spaces has been agreed.

Continental has pledged to achieve carbon neutrality from the first year of the contract which is set to begin in February.

Hydrotreated-Vegetable-Oil will also be introduced to management vehicles.

This is a renewable and sustainable direct diesel replacement that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%.
