New facilities will be installed at the Hawks Road and Cambridge Road junction near the redeveloped Cambridge Estate.
Kingston Council says the network is “a cornerstone of its long-term vision for sustainable travel around the borough.”
The decision confirms the final stage of £32million transformation project, funded in partnership with Transport for London.
