A national park’s beaten its target of planting 100,000 trees by the middle of the decade and now wants to sow a million more.

Over £400,000 was raised by the South Downs National Park to develop habitats for threatened species.

Over the next decade its hopes they’ll be able to establish new woodland, twice the size of Manchester.
