54-year-old Matt Ratana was killed in Croydon Police Station’s custody suite by Louis de Zoysa in 2020.
The Met Police officer was coming up to retirement having served the force for 30 years.
De Zoysa was sentenced to life in prison for his death and the stone will be unveiled at the Police Station.
