42-year-old teacher Gemma Devonish was stabbed to death at her home in Nutfield Close in December 2024.
45-year-old James Madden admitted manslaughter by diminished responsibility.
He received a Section 37 hospital order and Section 41 restriction order and can only be released if approved by the Secretary of State.
