A man who lost both of his parents to Motor Neurone Disease is preparing to run 100 miles from Richmond to Oxford.

Danny Sturgeon is undertaking the Thames Path 100 Ultramarathon in May to try and raise £1,000 for the MND Association.

His mum, Susan, died in 2012 in her 50s while his father John, who was in his 70s, passed away in 2022.

Danny says running has been his way of coping with their deaths.
