Police were called just after 8 o’clock following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a skip lorry.
The man was treated on the scene and taken to hospital.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
Chelsea bridge was closed in both directions for the morning and reopened at 2.30pm this afternoon
