A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a multi-vehicle crash on the M25 near Leatherhead.

It happened just before 6pm on Wednesday on the anticlockwise stretch between junctions 9 and 8.

Eight people received medical attention at the scene or were taken to hospital.

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage to come forward.
