A man has died following a collision in Merton.

Paramedics were called to reports of a collision between a car and found pedestrians on Merantun Way at 12.15 yesterday lunchtime.

One of the pedestrians, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and three others were taken to hospital.

The driver stopped at the scene and was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
