57 year old Earlston Bennet was charged yesterday and will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today.
Police were called to Towpath Way at 4:55am on Saturday, where a woman, believed to be Sarah Reynolds, was found dead.
Bennet is thought to have known Sarah, and police aren’t looking for anyone else.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who saw or interacted with Sarah in recent weeks to come forward.
