40-year-old Ryan Lloyd was arrested on the 27th of December after officers were called to the BP garage.
Officers were flagged down by an employee who had seen Lloyd concealing items in his jacket.
He has admitted to eight shoplifting offences over the course of November and December and has been remanded in custody.
