41-year-old Petre Catana has been charged with three counts of theft from a shop and one count of conspiring to steal.
It’s reported the incidents took place in the town centre on Saturday.
He appeared at Staines Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 15 December.
Catana has been bailed on condition he does not enter Surrey until the end of his bail period, while further enquiries continue.
