A man from Uxbridge has been donating plasma at the Twickenham Plasma Donor Centre in memory of his son, Asher.

43-year-old David Sinclair’s son fell ill shortly after birth and spent two years at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Asher passed away in 2019 at age four due to complications from coxsackievirus and related infections.

Inspired by the care plasma donations provided and determined to give back, David now donates to help other families.

NHS Blood and Transplant encourages more people to donate plasma to save lives.
